Our Mission To provide responsive and comprehensive support services to Kabale Regional Referral hospital leading to high quality health services in Kigezi Region.

Our Mandate To provide comprehensive support services, manage financial resources and physical infrastructure, participate in planning and research and contribute to policy for the health sector.

  2. Manage general and medical records systems.
  3. Establish and maintain systems for human resource management including welfare, training and enforcing staff discipline.
  4. Implementing financial and accounting regulations.
  5. Managing procurement and disposal chain and ensuring value for money throughout the process.
  6. Managing the hospital transport system
  7. Maintaining buildings, plants, equipment and machinery and training users of equipment to support the provision of quality health services.

MEDICAL RECORDS UNIT

Our Vision A unit that continuously provides a comprehensive, correct, complete and timely report and other services to authorized personnel’s only who want to access the services.

Our Mission To provide responsive and comprehensive support services to all our customers within and around Kabale Regional Referral hospital leading to high quality health services in Kigezi Region.

Our Mandate To provide comprehensive support services, manage resources and physical infrastructure, participate in planning and research and contribute to policy for the health sector.

Objectives

  1. To provide high quality services.
  2. To provide correct, complete and timely reports to MOH and requesting personnel’s as authorized by Management.
  3. To efficiently and effectively manage resources.
  4. To issue birth and death certificates to all those who need them.
  5. To collectively review all reports before final submission to the mother ministry.
  6. To provide information to authorized personnel’s only.
  7. Request and Issue stationery to all the departments within the hospital.
  8. To conduct support supervision and mentorships to all the departments within the hospital.
